The IWG has been approved to provide veterans educational benefits via Chapters 30, 31, 35, 1606 and 1607 in Denver, CO. The Guild is also able to provide Title 32 Benefits (post-9/11 GI Bill) and VRAP benefits.
In Denver, contact the Office of Veterans' Affairs for more information. The Denver VA Regional Office assistance number is 1-888-442-4551.
When you are approved for VA benefits let us know and we will prepare all of the documentation we need to complete, and submit, once you have been approved. It will speed up the process if you can provide us your VA contact person, their telephone and fax number as well as their email address. We will email them the documentation with a copy to you. You will need to speak to your VA contact person after they have received the information to make sure everything is correct and you are approved.
Your VA benefits are good for all of our professional courses through Level III, including Wine Instructor and Wine Judge courses. You can take 12-week or 1-week intensive study courses. We recommend that you take at least two courses a term.
If you have any questions or need assistance please contact Sherrie in our office at 303-296-3966 or srobbins@internationalwineguild.com. You can go to the GI Bill website to see for what benefits you qualify at www.gibill.va.gov.
The Guild wine school is currently working with key student lending institutions to establish a financial aid program. We currently do not have one in place.
The Guild does have a payment plan program. We can set up a program whereby you can pay for a professional course in two or three payments. For any course or program you take on a payment plan you should have paid for the course by the time it starts. If you have any questions or would like to discuss payment plan options please contact Carey in our office at 303-296-3966 or carey@internationalwineguild.com.
