Seasonal Varietal Wines

Fall to Winter

In the wintertime when it's cold outside, we drink full-bodied wines to go with the richer meals we eat. In the spring we start looking for wines that go with the changing season: clean, crisp and flavorful. In the summer, when it's hot outside, we drink light reds and whites as well as European roses to go with the lighter food. In fall, as it begins to cool, we drink more full-bodied wines again. Each class in this series will cover a specific grape or style of wine and how it produces different wines depending upon the growing area, climate and winemaking techniques. Tuition includes wine (6-10 different wines), bread and cheese, and handouts. Click a corresponding "Register" link to sign up.
