Advanced Regional Europe

This course is a complement to our other Advanced Regional courses: France, Italy and New World.

You will learn:

• Climate, geography and terroir
• Wine production techniques by style and region
• How to use vintage data, by country and region
• Wine growing and obligation requirements for each Appellation in the 9 countries studied

This course covers the following countries:

• Switzerland
• Austria
• Germany
• Hungary
• Bulgaria and Eastern Europe
• Greece
• Portugal
• Spain

You will receive more than 500 pages of material, specifically designed for this course and taste 50+ wines, including a few older vintage wines.

This course is available in two formats:10-Weeks and 5-days (intensive study)

Both course formats total 40 contact hours and offer the same content and instruction. 

10-Week Course: Meets once a week from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM for 10 weeks: Tuition: $2095 (includes registration fees, handouts, older vintage wine, and instruction)
