For those who are looking for a shorter
version of our 10-week advanced
courses we offer the Level II Certification course and all of the
Level III Certification courses as one-week intensive study programs.
All of these courses are ideal for anyone who would like an advanced
certification but does not live in the Denver area.
You do not need to be in the trade to take any of our professional courses. If you are a serious enthusiast then you can participate in any of our professional courses. Or, if you are considering a career change, then our professional courses will provide you with the education to make the jump to the wine industry.
Professional programs of the International Wine & Spirits Guild wine school are approved and regulated by the Colorado Department of Higher Education, Private Occupational School Board.
This is 12 hour (1 and ½ days) seminar. Those who successfully complete the online exam for this course will receive a Level I Certification diploma.
The cost for registration, wine course materials, wine certification, is $495 with an additional purchase price of $50 to complete the online Certification Exam. This seminar is offered at least 10 times a year in Denver as well as other locations.

This is a seven day (60 contact hour) course. Those who successfully complete the written and practical exams for this course will receive a Level II Certification diploma.
The cost for registration, course materials, executive certification and wine is $1,975. This advanced course is offered each quarter as either a 10-week or 1-week intensive study course.

This is a five day (44 contact hour) course that covers all of the topics as the 10-Week Advanced Wine and Food Pairing Course.
You do not have to be in the trade to take any Level III professional courses. However, we strongly recommend you take the Guild Certification Seminar prior to any Level III Course.
The cost for registration, course materials, executive/senior certification, food (a lunch and early dinner each day) and wine is $2,000. This advanced course is offered each quarter as an 10-week course and twice a year as a 1-week intensive study course.

Each of these are five day courses that covers all of the same material as our 10-week college level Advanced Regional Courses. There are three advanced regional courses: France, Italy and the New World.
