The International Wine and Spirits Guild is excited to provide our professional and continuing education wine or spirits seminars and courses in Austin and Johnson City through our marketing partners. Both enthusiasts and professionals take our seminars and courses.

You don't have to be a professional to attend any of our seminars and courses.  Half our students are typically enthusiasts.

For any of our Level 1 Wine Seminars you can sign-up for the award exam either before or after you attend the seminar. If you sign-up for the exam and take it within two weeks of taking the seminar use the following registration:

Level 2 Course On-Line Final Exam For All Locations

This is the final exam for the 10-week or intensive study Level 2 Advanced Wine Course.

Level 2 On-Line Final Exam Register: Denver, CO - at your convenience ($100). If taken within 2 months of completing the course. 

Level 2 On-Line Final Exam after 2 months Register: Denver, CO - at your convenience ($200). If taken after 2 months of completing the course.

If you want, you can sign up for this exam when you register for a Level 2 Wine Course.

When you sign up for the on-line exam the Guild will send you an email with instructions on how to take the exam and a second email, from the company we use to administer the exam, inviting you to their website to the take the exam.

PLEASE NOTE: You must register for courses through the International Wine and Spirits Guild. Online registration closes 1 day prior to the seminar or course start date. If you need to register after the close date, please contact the International Wine & Spirits Guild at 303-296-3966. If you have any questions please call the same number.

Because our seminars and courses are extremely expensive to produce, a cancellation by a student within ten (10) days of the start of the Seminar would result in a non-refundable fee of $350.00.  A student cancelling three (3) days prior to the start of a seminar or short-course will mean a forfeiture of the entire registration fees. There is a $150 fee for transferring from one seminar to another. If you transfer from one seminar to another you will still owe $495 for the seminar to which you are transferring.

 

This also applies to our Level 2 and Level 3 courses, a cancellation by a student within ten (10) days of the start of the Course would result in a non-refundable fee of $1200.00.  A student cancelling three (3) days prior to the start of a seminar or short-course will mean a forfeiture of the entire registration fees. There is a $250 fee for transferring from one seminar to another. If you transfer from one seminar to another you will still owe $1900 (or $1995) for the course to which you are transferring.

 

If for any reason a class is canceled we will phone or e-mail you 48 hours prior to the start of the class. If a class is canceled at the last minute due to bad weather (this is very rare) we will reschedule the class. However, if a class is held and you decide not to attend because you believe the weather is bad then it will be treated as a no-show.

It is highly recommended that you register early, your credit card will not be charged until ten days in advance of the seminar or course. We must have a minimum students registered in order to form a course. If you are traveling from out of town to attend, please do not make travel arrangements until two weeks in advance of the course.
